NEW CHAPTER:MY FIRST WEEK IN THE BIG CITY


Moving to a big city is like opening a book full of surprises - you never know what story you'll jump into. My first week in the big city was a variety of experiences, a mix of the expected and the completely unexpected.The city is a perfect place to the lovely pictures I paint in my mind. Tall buildings, surprising, and a living different types of people and cultures.As a graphic designer at NEMISA, I found a niche where creativity meets technology. Ideas are not born here; they are made and turned into digital masterpieces. The work is refreshing, challenges my artistic boundaries and forces me to explore new styles in the digital world.But it's not just about work. It's about people, relationships and shared moments of inspiration. It's about finding your tribe in the most unexpected places and realizing that every person you meet has a story that can fill hearts.The city, with its chaos and charm, was an unexpected teacher. It taught me that comfort is found in the unknown and that every street corner has a lesson. This is where dreams are made and tested, and I'm here for all of it the trials, the triumphs, and the stories yet to be told.So here is a big city, in it lies surprises, unfolding stories and the journey of a graphic designer just beginning.And this is my first blog actually.Stay tuned for more stories from the urban landscape, with a new page waiting to be filled every day.

I got a brief to create a digital story. When I received the brief, I had many thoughts and ideas in my mind about how to create it. I wanted to tell a story that everyone could relate to, but I didn’t want it to be just sad. My ideas were betrayal, love and hate, first heartbreak, and the pain of death. Week 6 with Mr. Mark: Learning to See Through Perspective Week 6 in Mr. Mark’s class was a big eye-opener for many of us learning to draw. This was the week we dove into perspective drawing,an important skill that helps turn flat drawings into something that looks 3D and full of life. Perspective isn’t just about making things look smaller as they go farther away. It’s about creating depth and space on paper, making it feel like you could step right into the drawing. Mr. Mark, with his love for art and years of experience, showed us how to make our drawings more realistic and exciting. We started with one-point perspective , where all lines go to one spot on the horizon,great for things like roads or buildings you’re looking at straight on. Then we tried two-point perspective , which uses two vanishing points and is great for drawing corners or angled objects, like the edge of a box or a building. But Mr. Mark didn’t stop there. MY CURRENT LIFE

 Hey everyone. I’ve decided to start using this blog as a space to just be real and vent a bit. Life has been moving fast, and I want to be able to look back one day and see how far I’ve come. So much has happened in the last 8 months. Right now, I have my own registered business called STARR DESIGNS , which is a huge step for me. I’m trying to figure out how to manage clients and grow the business, and honestly, it’s not easy. There’s a lot to learn and sometimes it feels a little overwhelming, but I’m still going. On the school side, things are going okay. I made a bet with one of my lecturers , if I pass all my modules, I get R300. It’s a fun challenge, and I’m actually excited about it. But now I have to level up and really focus, especially with the business running on the side too. Balancing both is not simple, but I’m trying to find my rhythm.
