Learning Adobe Illustrator can be exciting and full of creative possibilities. At NEMISA, students start this journey with the help of a skilled teacher, Miss Moleboheng. She helps them discover how art and technology come together through design.

Adobe Illustrator is a powerful design tool that lets you turn simple shapes and lines into cool logos, detailed drawings, and eye-catching graphics. It’s like a digital art playground where you can create anything you imagine. Tools like the Pen tool and Pathfinder give you lots of control to design exactly how you want.

By the third week at NEMISA, students begin to understand the basics better. This is when the real fun starts,designs get more detailed, colors pop more, and ideas come to life. It shows how great teaching and a desire to learn can go a long way.

As time goes on, students will keep improving. They’ll learn about layers, play with color gradients, and maybe even try 3D effects. Every new skill brings them closer to becoming skilled designers.

Learning Illustrator is more than just using software,it’s about expressing yourself through visuals and turning ideas into real designs. For the students at NEMISA, guided by Miss Moleboheng, this is just the beginning of a creative journey full of growth and discovery.

Week 6 with Mr. Mark: Learning to See Through Perspective Week 6 in Mr. Mark’s class was a big eye-opener for many of us learning to draw. This was the week we dove into perspective drawing,an important skill that helps turn flat drawings into something that looks 3D and full of life. Perspective isn’t just about making things look smaller as they go farther away. It’s about creating depth and space on paper, making it feel like you could step right into the drawing. Mr. Mark, with his love for art and years of experience, showed us how to make our drawings more realistic and exciting. We started with one-point perspective , where all lines go to one spot on the horizon,great for things like roads or buildings you’re looking at straight on.  Hey everyone. I’ve decided to start using this blog as a space to just be real and vent a bit. Life has been moving fast, and I want to be able to look back one day and see how far I’ve come. So much has happened in the last 8 months. Right now, I have my own registered business called STARR DESIGNS , which is a huge step for me. I’m trying to figure out how to manage clients and grow the business, and honestly, it’s not easy. There’s a lot to learn and sometimes it feels a little overwhelming, but I’m still going. On the school side, things are going okay. I made a bet with one of my lecturers , if I pass all my modules, I get R300. It’s a fun challenge, and I’m actually excited about it. But now I have to level up and really focus, especially with the business running on the side too. Balancing both is not simple, but I’m trying to find my rhythm.
